RANKED RANKED RANKED

The CU Buffs are now bowl-eligible as they knocked off the Cincinnati Bear Cats 34-23 and have six wins for the first time since 2016. Keep hating on this team. Keep saying that this team only plays for clicks. Keep saying that their schedule is weak. This team is ranked 23 in the nation, and no one can refute a damn thing about that.
Once again, it was Shedeur and Travis leading the way to victory on Saturday. Sanders was an efficient 25/30 for 323 yards and 2TDs with no interceptions. Travis is back in full form, putting up 153 yards on nine catches. These two guys will most definitely be first-round picks it's just a matter of how early they go.
I would just like to reiterate that this team had one win in 2022. One. Win. 2 years later, they are sitting at 6-2. Why? Because the coach is a damn good one and knows what the hell he is doing, contrary to what many pundits and "fans" think. At this point, I might just take a victory lap around all the haters after every win.
Now, that brings me to one person I want to talk about, Paul Finebaum. I spoke about him briefly last week, but after doing more research on him, I have some choice words for him:
About three months ago, on ESPN's first take, Finebaum said these exact words. "Colorado is Nothing. They don't matter. They're Irrelevant in the big picture of college football". This was part of a rant of him speaking on how he believes Deion won't have the patience to stay in Colorado to properly build this program and get them to the playoffs and blasted Shedeur for saying the buffs were everyone's Superbowl. Yes, Shedeur saying that the Buffs are everyone's Super Bowl may come off as weird because the Buffs are 4-8, but that is the type of confidence I would like to see from my QB, and for Paul to call them irrelevant because of that seems a little harsh and doesn't sound like objective journalism. He changed his tune on the team after they started winning more and called them a "Legitimate Factor in College Football" on the Matt Barrie Show about a month ago. But then, a week ago, on the same show, listening to him, it's clear that Finebaum just wants Deion to "Shut up and Coach," but what makes Deion unique is his personality and being more of a player's coach, and I am very happy to see that Sanders didn't change his approach to coaching at all. He still brought that swagger to the team the only difference is that the team is learning how to win.
My overall point is that Deion didn't and shouldn't have to change the way he coaches, and for Finebaum to criticize him for that is ridiculous. Don't let the recent praise from Paul Finebaum fool you. He is someone who still wishes to see Deion and the team fail and it pains him to speak about the Buffs positively.
